Σε ηλικία 66 χρονών ''έφυγε'' ο Charles 'Bubba' Smith που έγινε γνωστός από το ρόλο του Moses Hightower στις ταινίες Police Academy.

Έφυγε από την ζωή σε ηλικία 66 ετών ο ηθοποιός και πρώην παίκτης του αμερικάνικου ποδοσφαίρου Bubba Smith.

Ο ηθοποιός βρέθηκε νεκρός στην κατοικία του στο Λος Άντζελες, όμως τα αίτια θανάτου του δεν έχουν γίνει γνωστά. Σύμφωνα με την αστυνομία, ο θάνατος του δεν ενέχει κάποιο ύποπτο στοιχείο.

Ο Smith έγινε διάσημος μέσα από τον ρόλο του ως Moses Hightower στις ταινίες «Μεγάλη των Μπάτσων Σχολή».

Ο Bubba Smith, το πραγματικό όνομα του οποίου ήταν Charles Aaron Smith, μετά την επιτυχημένη του πορεία στο αμερικάνικο ποδόσφαιρο, έστρεψε το βλέμμα του στην ηθοποιία στα τέλη της δεκαετίας του 1970.

Στο ενεργητικό του είχε ρόλους σε τηλεοπτικές σειρές όπως «Οι Άγγελοι του Τσάρλι», «Taxi», κτλ, ωστόσο γνώρισε τη δόξα συμμετέχοντας ως Moses Hightower σε έξι από τις ταινίες της «Μεγάλης των Μπάτσων Σχολή». R.I.P. Bubba...
